Case Study

Project Ref Sagentia
  • Value: £550,000.00
  • Time Scale: 3 years
  • System Type: Mitsubishi R2

A longstanding client of ours, Sagentia, based in Cambridge had a system which was coming to the end of its working life. This system used Versatemp fan coils which used a combination of chilled water & low temperature hot water supplied with the use of a packed chiller and gas boilers.

The company wanted to install a more energy efficient system into their building that also gave a greater control to individual areas.
We designed a VRF heat recovery system using Mitsubishi Electric R2 equipment comprising of wall mounted, cassette and ducted fan coils with a centralised control system which was interacted to the buildings Trend BMS system for greater control and energy management.

The company were able to secure a "Carbon Trust Loan" to help with the cost of replacing the existing system.

The whole site was upgraded over a 3 year period and now the new system is fully functional and operating costs have been reduced greatly.

The client has also signed a long term planned maintenance contact with us.
